Microsoft working on 360 Wiimote-killer?

Alright, take this one with a huge grain of salt, but MTV News is reporting that Microsoft is secretly developing a Wiimote-like motion controller for the Xbox 360. The source says that the new unit has been under development since August, and that a new unified interface is being developed by Rare, which has missed a few deadlines.

Yorktown withstands John Jay rally, other Monday results

Both Yorktown and John Jay lost its top three scorers and starting goalie after meeting in last year’s Class B sectional final, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I got to Yorktown today. What I got was an incredible game. Yorktown scored six straight goals to go up 14-7 with 19:42 left, John Jay came all the way back to tie it with 3:11 left, then Jaimie Morrison scored with 23 seconds left to give the Cornhuskers a 15-14 win. Reporting on a story over at MTV News, Engadget have an intriguing post up about Microsoft’s supposed new secret project - a Wiimote-killer gyroscopic controller whatnot thingybob. Apparently it’s been in development since August, and in true Microsoft style, copies the Wii down to a T - including the concept of Miis.
