One trend we’ve noticed here at Interbike this year is the proliferation of rim art on both road and mountain wheel sets. There are a ton of smaller companies pushing the idea but even Mavic has a CrossMax SX wheel set decorated with swirly flourishes. Cool idea - but let’s not get too crazy

Tropical Storm Kyle forms in Atlantic: NHC September 25th, 2008 SAN FRANCSICO (MarketWatch) — Tropical Storm Kyle has formed in the Atlantic Ocean about 645 miles south-southwest of Bermuda, the National Hurricane Center said late Thursday. Kyle, which has winds of about 45 miles an hour, is forecast to strengthen over the next few days. The storm is moving toward the north at about 8 miles an hour, the NHC said. the McCain campaign issued payments to Rick Davis' lobbying firm rather than pay Davis directly. "The Arizona senator's presidential campaign paid at least $90,000 to Davis Manafort Inc., the firm Davis founded with Republican lobbyist Paul J. Manafort, during the first six months of last year, while Davis was serving as CEO for the campaign."
